  • November 14, 2013 – NC Equal Access to Justice Commission Updates Cy Pres and Other Court Awards Manual for Attorneys and Judges.  The NC Equal Access to Justice Commission has revised its Cy Pres and Other Court Awards Manual to reflect recent Cy Pres and other awards to legal aid providers and IOLTA.  To view the revised manual, click
  • June 5, 2013 – NC Equal Access to Justice Commission Receives American Bar Association Innovation Grant.The Commission was selected in June to receive a 2013 Innovation Grant from the American Bar Association to develop a state-specific resource and referral website for veterans and pro bono attorneys representing veterans.  Grants are awarded to promote innovation by encouraging Access to Justice Commissions to develop and test innovative new projects replicable in other states and expand the scope of their ongoing activities into broad new areas beyond existing work.  For more information, click here.
  • February 25, 2013 – NC IOLTA Releases Domestic Violence Report.  The IOLTA program of the NC State Bar released its report to the General Assembly regarding the Domestic Violence Victim Assistance Act for  2011–12.  To view the report, click here.
